The title sounds a little cliché, but we didn't knew a better name for it, and still don't :hehe
We're working in teams this time(i'm in a team with two other people), we also had to think of a name for our team which resulted in 'nospirit' (we combined our nicknames)

You play as a fairy and you find out that the whole forest is cursed, all the animals are sick. Once you find out who did it you have to defeat the enemy and to get there you have to solve puzzles. We're also going to put easter eggs in it, disney references in particular. Example: You see the sword Excalibur somewhere randomly in the woods, you'll find out that it's suspiciously easy to pick up. Once you have it you'll get a closer look, and you find out it says 'made in china' on the handle. Well, you get the idea. There will be more easter eggs like that one in it. :)

Anyways here are some backgrounds! (one of my tasks is to make the backgrounds)

Wonderful and talented artist you are BK and technically talented too so hope to see your word maze game when it's done. My brother use to play similar games back in the day like Monkey Island (original; believe the newer version actually had moving action. lol). :)

This looks very promising art-wise! From your description this sounds like a adventure game in the classic point&click style? Having grown up with Sierra and LucasArts' games I approve. :)

Thank you very much lylejk :D I'll share it here once it's done!
I started playing Monkey Island when the special edition came out, I've never actually played the old version.

Thank you! Working in a team has it's benefits, but also it's disadvantages :P

Thank you! And yes it's going to be a point&click adventure :) I grew up with a lot old games from 'Epic MegaGames' and 'ID software' for example, but haven't really played any point&clicks back then, it was a few years ago when I tried Monkey Island. Since then, point&click adventures are my favorite game style :P

You're missing out on part of the experience if you don't have to dial a pirate before playing.

I have a question for you all, if you're willing to give an answer to it xD

When seeing some of the art, and reading the story I put in this topic, what kind of audience would be best for this game you think? boys/girls? And what age? my teacher wanted me to find this out :P

Thanks! Glad to see that I succeeded at the dreamy part :D I intended to make it dreamy/fantasy like.

I've added two animations for the main character :) Animating was one of my teammates task, but now I'm making the animation line-arts because she didn't really know how to do it.

Lovely sprites ( both meanings! :hehe ) I think from the images it would appeal more to girls but the adventure aspect seems to me to be more a boy thing. I don't think you can really stereotype like that these days though so I wouldn't be too black and white.

baukjespirit: i love the look of that fairy sprite (i refuse to repeat erisian's pun :hehe ) and the backgrounds are just beautiful! you are very good at putting a mood and an atmosphere into a scene.
i think of myself when i read the game description - a working woman who relaxes with a game now and then and prefers adventure games to shooters and who enjoys well made graphics.

Nice images! I'm general I'd say it's a girl's game, but since we have plenty of games with woman main characters (No one lives forever, Lara Croft and the games with Samus) might not be as true today, I know a lot of guys who play with woman skins which I find stupid but to each their own. :lol

If it's aimed at a general audience then it's good for everyone, if it's aimed more for children I think it's more for girls. I think kids would be more interested in fairies than adults but some people love to stay a child at heart so I don't think I can say EXACTLY who would like the game. It has nice potential nonetheless! :3

It looks appealing to me, although I'll add that I'm older and grew up with games similar to this. I can't say much of use about boys and girls.
