Candied Dice

Plasma, Dice (colored), Graechan's Plastic Script-fu (sans the fill color with other layer set to overlay; no drop shadow option), then G'MIC's Taquin (picked a value that would keep the groups). Yes, this one's seamless too. Not much different in size between jpg and png (quality that I use), so just kept in lossless.

Thanks Odin; did cheat since I used's Graechan's Plastic preset in the mix, but the rest was, for the most part, G'MIC.

Maybe atom soup or something...

Started with a black background. The only thing I've done in gimp itself is add alpha channel since I wasn't sure if I'd need it or not.
Here's the notes of what filters I went with and roughly what I did with them, output layers etc.

3d random objects, sphere, rendered as dots
Local normalization - RGB
Dream smoothing - low iteration almost full opacity to a new layer
Blend [standard] - opacity .72 to new layer - input all layers
High Pass on active layer to new layer
turn off bottom 2 layers
Gradient RGB on high pass output layer
turn on bottom layer (first layer)
Blend Median - output to new layer
on rodilius output layer Gradient RGB -output to new layer
make visible blend rodilius and last output layer, blend standard - add mode op 72% output to new layer
make all invisible, except last layer and original blend median layer, blend median again with all visible, output to new layer
last blended layer - Local contrast enhance x2
Local Normalization
take contrast enhance layer and local normalization layer and blend median

New image - transparent, Spiral - I colour to alpha the white and merged it onto a layer of 3d Random colour objects. I did a flower in there somewhere, circle transformed, arrayed faded, metallicized and lots of other filters.

I wonder what would happen if all the filters were used?
