Hey guys! I am putting a gif onto an image. But when I place my gif on the image it immediately turns black and white. I thought it was because the background behind the image was transparent, so I redid it and made the background black. Same thing happened .... grrr! Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and what I can do to change it?

Change the image mode to "RGB" before you place the gif image. Or change them both to "RGB".

Are you using Saulgoodes "Combine Background" script?
http://gimpscripts.com/2011/10/combineo ... ackground/

Just use your image as the bottom background layer and run the script. Your animation or GIF will be added to the same image for all frames. :)

You can overlay the bg also if you wish. Awesome script.
