Have you played with the Soap Bubble script?
Another thought, Soap bubbles animated brush.

Thanks, Erisian. A Soap could be written about the goings on in here. You would be one of the stars. :lol

Looks good, Wallace. I remember that, now that you mentioned it.

I guess my variation is that I rendered the soap from scratch and made it wet. I've also added some suds after it was used.

Image

I created a rectangle with rounded edges, ran the EnviroLogo script to create the initial soap bar & color, extruded with 3D extrusion and ran the Highlight script. Then, ran Graechan's Water Drops script, created the Debossed text with GC Shadow and finally added some soap bubbles from modified images I found on Bing.

Nice! :bigthup
The bubbles on top make it look really great. Got to love it... ;)

Odin, those are good suggestions and it might be doable using some kind of brush.

mackenzieh, I think it might work if I had just the right pattern. I tried to create a couple of seamless suds patterns, but I couldn't get them to fit with what I was doing.

In the end, I was able to get a pretty good result by manipulating and combining several images I found on Bing. :cool

If Ralphie only had GIMPChat soap, he would have been be cussing all the time. MMMMM delicious!

Here are some cool Soapy Bubble Brushes for GIMP. I haven't had time to create any suds with them yet, but they look to have good potential. ;)
