The new theater/marquis banner looks great. Gives me ideas for banner ads.

Who made this? Is there a tutorial?

That one must have missed the thread cuz I went through them all and didn't see it there. There are others up here and there too but must have gone directly to the forum.
otherwhirl, if you go to the first post in the thread and read the guidlines posted by Tux, feel free to make a banner. and post the XCF in that thread.
No one used tutorials, just imagination.

Unless things are changed you have to 'attach' your xcf file. If you want to post your finished image in the thread make it into a .png or other but GnuTux needs the .xcf. Look forward to seeing your contribution.

Yep. I'll claim responsibility for this banner. There is no tutorial and I didn't render it 100% from scratch. Some elements were taken from stock images.

The font I used on the marquee is SF Hollywood Hills.

@otherwhirl - It's an older banner. There are lots of banners rotating, so you've probably just never noticed it before. Feel free to contribute as many banners as you like. Just follow the template for banner creation posted in the above referenced threads. I do prefer you provide an XCF. Sometimes, I have to tweak the provided banner to make it fit properly with the website layout.
