G'MIC's Hough Sketch filter crashes

Hello there, this is my first post. I'm having a problem with one of G'MIC's filters called Hough Sketch. A picture's worth a thousand words:

I'm using G'MIC 1.5.8.2 & Gimp 2.8 on a Windows Vista 32-bit system

Tested OK in my 32 and 64bit gimps

Well, that is working for me too.
Maybe you could try to update to latest stable 1.5.8.3, some bugs related to wrong memory accesses have been corrected.
That could help.

Thank you, I will update and see if it works.

I couldn't find the installer for 1.5.8.3 but I removed & reinstalled (for the third time) version 1.5.8.2 and now it works.

Thank you, Odinbc, the Windows installer's old but found the way to install the zip (new) version.

I have the same error message when I use the cage tool. No one could explain me why. I reinstalled the GIMP 3 times, but the problem continues.

Newly discovered: when I tried to process a 5000x5000 pixel image this morning at least one G'MIC filter failed (same error). Per a tip found on the web I reduced the image to 50% of its original size. Every filter responded perfectly and very quickly after doing it.
