The port of the G'MIC plug-in in Krita has been done by Lukáš Tvrdý, one of the Krita developer.
It's a kind of first draft, so it is already very nice to have it shipped with the final stable version of Krita. But of course, if you want more features for this particular plug-in (e.g. a working preview), I suggest you should submit a request to the Krita developers !

You can't add new filters too. Lukas will work on this and other issues, but there is no time estimate.
