Do you know any 100% public domain fonts to avoid illegal font use? Some of the "open source" fonts are not really free for print shop use. I know we need license but it cost too much for its use (its per PC) not as a whole.

other stuff to think about:

You will need to check the license for each font you use. Most font centric sites distribute fonts with varying licenses. The licenses are usually noted on the download page on within the font archive.

You might want to check out this thread in the resource section, which lists lots of good font sites and font resources.

What software do you use to make fonts usable on your computer? I saw some of it and it says you must buy it first. They wrote down that its free to download but whatever you do with it, such as putting fonts requires license.

The site is in several languages. There are some links up the top to take you to your choice of four
it came up default English for me.
Here is the link to the download page.

There are many fonts you can use for free if you only use them for personal use. Some are free and just ask that if you wish to to donate.
Unless you are making fonts from scratch you don't need to know how to make them usable......(If you do someone here can answer that ? for you)
Most fonts on the net that you can use you can put them in your font folder and after restarting your computer they will show up in with your fonts.

What a bumber. So only the owner downloads the software itself?

If you are unsure of restrictions on any license contact the owner.
