Griatch asked what inspired in his work. I think he can guess from this... :hehe

I tried to find a loose style, but failed miserably. I'm better with my own tricks... It was fun to do though.

Now I need to finish a couple of Blender models, so I might not have anything to show for some time. (Unless you want me to show painted UV maps, those I do with Gimp... :) Not likely... )

Lol! It's my trollgirl indeed! I like this interpretation, kimppi, this time the inspiration is clearly evident indeed. I like the effective highlights and shadowing you have used there, just a dapple here and there is an interesting way to mark light changes without adding too much complexity. Works well for this style.

An excellent result Kimppi. Pretty soon you and Griatch will come up with a line of troll comics, t-shirts, and mugs. :)

Hehe, good one Oregonian.
The funny thing is that you really can get that exact troll-girl image on a (black) mug ... I even drew that picture to be extra wide especially for the reason of being able to print in on a mug and give away. :)

How cool.

My daughter found a cup with Van Gogh's Starry Night on it and gave it to me. We had a print of the painting on our wall while my children were growing up. The image wraps the mug.
