Hello. Is there any GIMP plugin for Lookup adjustment? The concept seems simple and the results from photoshop CS6 looks great. Thanks!

Color Lookup image adjustment is a new Photoshop CS6 thing there can be no equivalent in Gimp. Have you experimented with G'MIC?

I have experimented with G'MIC but I haven't seen anything like Lookup as in PS CS6. Does it have a different name?

Here is an explanation tute to what color adjustment lookup does. I don't know of anything in GMIC that could do this but some one might.

I don't have CS6 but all Lookup adjustment appears to do is 'take the original colors in your image and remap them to different, specific colors' with an adjustment layer, which Gimp doesn't have.
G'MIC | Colors filter menu might provide similar results.
Gimp | Colors | Filter Pack or Colors | Map | Rotate Colors might be worth a look as well.
They all have live preview.

Filter Pack will be the easiest to use but it's hard to compare without having used PS6. Hopefully a member with PS6 will have a more informed opinion.

Molly, thanks, I didn't know about it.
I agree that G'mic film emulation could do something similar -with all those Pat David's presets available-, but only who can play both with it and CS6 can judge

Thank you Odinbc. I found the lookup filters in G'MIC > Film Emulation.

Pat David has more info about his film emulation lookup tables here:

I also found this 3D LUT creator tool:

This seems to be a mapping of a color LUT to the image, which is exactly what the G'MIC filters located under 'Film Emulation/' does.
But of course, we don't have the same color LUT files. We could easily do 'reverse engineering' to get the corresponding color transformations, but we need someone with CS6 to apply this effect on a test image.
Anyone volunteer ? :p
