Thanks, I really like the idea of a simple gradient stroke without too many bells and whistles.
just cropped my second image, I didn't like the border.

Did you just update the script again in the past 15 min?

Yes. I added back in the original 8 directions and if you set the stroke width to zero, it will gradient fill, rather than stroke. :bigthup

But it is great option to colorize !!
100% colored using Gradient Stroke V1.2
Without using brushes, smudge or dodge/burn tools.

Only my second experience, and the gradient used was not edited specifically for this use.
Yet for a first stage of painting the result was encouraging.

I think the upgrade to V1.2 was subtle, and many users never notice the changes. But the changes were effective and added versatility and other possibilities in addition to strokes.

Thanks for the update GnuTux! :tyspin

Great results, SysTemX. :bigthup

The coloring is excellent, Akros. :yes

I'm going to make one more small change to the script to allow setting of the Bump Depth. I'm replacing the Stroke Bump toggle with a slider. If set to zero, no bump, otherwise, it will bump the stroke at the specified depth. This will allow better control over the bump results. I'll post the update a little later.

Combining with BRL to get this..

GnuTux, Akros, molly! Really nice results.

molly, I really love the outcome of your latest one. Akros, using as a colorization - wow that last one! Can't wait to try it - knowing me I probably won't know how to use it. You guys are amazing.
