I tried it with sample-gradient-along-path by Rob and had great results.
Thanks, very good script.

I don't know why but nothing is happening when I do it. The script has shown up in the menu but when I go to 'run' it, nothing happens.....not even in the layers dock is there anything.
ps. I have only tried it in default thus far (with and without a selection) just to see what happens before I tried any thing else.

Hi Sally,
Maybe a print screen of the window with the settings in the script would give us more information.
Maybe it's just setting ...

@sallanne,, I don't think you have the latest version of gradient stroke. This is what mine looks like.

Weird I copied and replaced it from gimp scripts. I'll do it again.

Hi Sallyanne, I think that after removing the old script you may run a cleaner programme, close your computer and then when you open Gimp, set the new last script. Perhaps it is that.

Sally, try this:
In the scripts folder, delete the gradient-stroke.scm
Open your gimp and make sure the script disappeared in Filters / Decor. (Can no longer be there the Gradient Stroke)
Then Insert the new version of the script, in your gimp, refresh scripts (Filters / Script-Fu / Refresh Script) or re-open your gimp scripts folder.

You may be right Isabella. I just don't understand, I have never had this problem before. Whenever I put a file that is similar it overwrites the other one by default. Not like it isn't in my gimp menu either.

@ Akros, I did all that before except look in the folder but as I said it overwrites by default.
