I think we should increase the height too 200 (atleast) because I like having sigs that are 200 pixels High and 400 Pixels Wide. I think this looks better, and gives you more space to work in. I use this size all the time and prefer it over any other size.

So the current max height is 151, and I would like it to be changed to 200.

Sorry I do not see how to create a poll, so if you can tell me how that would be greatly appreciated. Mods feel free to do it for me if you have too, because I can not.

Thanks, that makes me feel stupid that I couldn't figure it out... is it maybe because I can't?

Not stupid. You just didn't know how. While you are posting a new post if you scroll below your post, you'll find the poll creating dialog. See the image below. I put in the information that I did for your poll and I also timed it for 14 days.

Am I missing it then?
That is what it shows when I scroll all the way down. Am I in the wrong spot? On other forums, that are phpBB it is right down there.

I'm pretty sure it has to be in the first post starting a new thread. If you are looking at this thread you won't find the poll information because it already has a poll.

I suggest you start a new post and then scroll down. You don't need to submit the post, just go look so you can see where it is. Just click out of the post then.

I did make a new post and look, and then I didn't see it, maybe it is some sort of permissions where you have to be more than a day old, or have so many posts before you can...
Only thing I can think of now, because it just wasn't there

OK. I guess you need a staff member to create a poll for you. I'll look into it farther when I return from my trip.

Are we talking about signatures (below) or about avatars (on the side)? Signatures are text (that can include images) and I don't think there is any control on their final height.

Avatars are indeed limited to 150px. Going to 200px height is fine, but I don't want to see them 400px wide...

I am talking about images in Signatures, they are maxed at 151, random number I know, and I would like to have it increased to 200

Can't say as I care for larger signatures. Even with a 1600 X 900 screen resolution a 200px signature occupies roughly 35% of the visible web page (The area not occupied by the searchbar, navbar and footerbar). Much more difficult to follow threads when only one post displays in full without scrolling. It might make sense to make signatures wider than 400px. That would allow for more creativity without becoming a massive disruption to threads.

Well does that mean you want to have it increased? and something about that seems as though it is an illusion...

No, I'm with Mike on this... the big signatures make one scroll a lot... 150px is more than enough vertically. 100px would even have my vote. But allowing up to 600px wide would be OK if not already done.

This is the current signature image size. It does NOT have to be made 501 pixels wide. Anything less than that is acceptable.

I have turned off my signature and put an image at the bottom to resemble a signature image that is 500w x 200h.

Avatar sizes will not be changed. 150 x 150 pixels is the maximum size for an avatar. They wouldn't fit in the space allotted to them if they were larger.

The smaller the better as far as I'm concerned. I've given up looking at Gimper.net because the sigs take up so much of the screen area that the actual content becomes difficult to find.

I agree i think 151x501 is plenty of space to be creative.
Actually i am surprised the 150x150 pixel size for avatars isn't smaller.
