As a sort of cosmic lighthouse the Swirling Sanctuary of the Space Knights guides the Vessels of visitors and pilgrims to a safe landing space.
Once the Space Knight were knows under another name , something as "Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Salomonici " that in English should sound as "Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon" even if soon from poor they become very rich bankers ,the first because they even DID invent the banks , and all the bank business
About "Christ" they all respected their Christian origins but soon they enter in contact with much older secrets and mysteries, and yes were monks , but warrior monks , soon much more warriors and merchants then monks
That was the main excuse for the King of France and the Pope to destroy they order , but also the reason why most of the Knights apparently vanished with most of their treasures and if all the lands,and castles were seized, not coin of the fabulous treasure of the order was found
Most Templars found hiding place in Europe and dispersed there (to numerous groups would have driven too attention )
But others didn't want disperse but regroup and find the promised land where build the Golden Temples , amd was the group that controlled all the order wealth
For such a huge group slowed down by the weight of tons of gold, silver, diamond and gems , (to not mention the Ark , the Menorah and the rest of their collection ) would be impossible walk unnoticed
In that group many know that the Castle as the villages around were build over the devastated ruin of a pagan city , the ancient street now naturally mutated in a subterranean network of tunnels and galleries .
And a few know even more, of the more deep and ancient tunnels of the Others Elders , galleries sufficiently large to let pass their horses and chariots and even the Ark
No port in Europe was safe for such a group, so they have to continue underground...
It was a long way to Tenochtitlan , it would be impossible without horses and chariots maintain and all the food provision stored in the Wagon
And so little by little finally arrived a Tenochtitlan a place already knew from long even if only by few selected Templars,
There was already a little Templars stronghold , already good business were going on and friendly relations were established not only with local merchants and clients but even with the Court and the Regnant

The word "Temples" does not describe sufficiently, inside the Temples were their houses with their inner labyrinth of gardens and balconies, schools , swimming pools and fountains, and more Sanctuaries , hidden gardens floating on the fountains large as lakes and of course the farm and factories
All inside the Golden Temples now ready to float away to a safer place far , far away
At that times at Tenochtitlan (now is more know as Mexico City ) camera where not used ,
so the building of the space vessel and departure was recorded with the media available in that period,( men with chisel and hammer in front of a stone wall )
Most captures were misinterpreted by modern archaeologists , were read in the wrong direction as if representing Visitors or Deities coming down from sky on theirs vessel
Obviously was the other way around , that were the Knights Temple & Vessel that was going up , bringing the Visitors away

As i wrote before the Space Knights have a profound respect for their origin and ancestors ; the "Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon" more known as "Knights Templar "
You should consider that Knights Templar were monks, but at that time celibacy for the monks was not too respected norm , in general...and much more in the peculiar case of a group of wealthy but expert well trained warriors.
So in the group were the Knights :
each Knight had 1 wife a few children and pets ,more a few lovers with some more children and pets ,
and of course a few servants were needed even when travelling
To make a long story short little by little many things changed , some role shifted
Now in the elite troupes of the Solar Knights you will seldom see a men , girls are considered more fit
But you should not think to a feminine domination men get paid very well for what may do better ,
as keep the house clean, take care of the garden and the pets , carry the children around , cook something tasty, take care of the dirty dishes and blocked toilet pipes...
About religion their are still very religious,
they still respect much the Cross ,
also because the Cross may be read as a graphical simplification of the Swastika , that is a solar symbol but may also be seen as a representation of the Wheel
And that the point, they respect the Wheel , of course the Real Wheel that extend in the 12 Dimensional space and beyond , As they respect the Echo of the wheel vibrations that powered the primeval expansion and awakened the Cosmic Mother
Also for those changes the ancient name decayed and the new official name is :
the Sisterhood of the Solar Knights
