Example of letters
This is at 480 pixel size mind you. 1000 pixel size looks a little soft. Though the size does allow for 1000 pixels if you need it.

The file size of the embedded PHF is 12mb.
https://www.opendrive.com/files/Nl80Nzk ... f-1_RD.phf

INSTALL:
Open Filters>Fontlab>Photofont Start and click install photofonts. Point to the PHF file you just downloaded and Photofont will install for you.

IMPORTANT: You need photofont start 8bf plug-in and PSPI installed into GIMP for this to work.
Settings within Filters>Fontlab>Photofont Start

Thanks Rod for the link to the download. It's a pretty cool looking photo font you created.

Thanks Wallace but i can not take credit for the illustration. I only made it possible to use within Photofont Start adobe plug-in. The artist is Illustratorg

At least I hope they are right

It's much more difficult to get them correct in the non embedded version. Trial and error i say. :) But messing with the y coordinates (if i remember correctly) will get you there in time.

First you need to create each letter and number. You may also want exclamation point, period, question mark..ect...ect...ect.
Make them in GIMP on separate layers. Try and make them large and as clear as possible.

Upload the finished xcf here (attached in it's own topic) or if larger than the site allows to your own online storage such as dropbox or some such and allow me to get access to the xcf file download.
I can then create a PHF file to work in Fontlabs Photofont Start 8bf filter.

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.
