Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level



Hiya....I would like to stroke my path which is a diagonal line 3 pix wide but when I do I get the faded pixels as well...how can I stop that please?

If you are using the paint brush I make my diagonal line then alpha to selection > Select to path > SELECT NONE. Go to path and click the paint along path tool and select your 3 pixel width, then click stroke.

I assume you mean the anti-aliasing pixels... If you stroke in "line mode" you will always have them. I think the only way to get full pixels only is to stroke the path with the Pencil tool:

Strange, I used the pencil tool for the line and also the stroke and I don't think it looks very good. I thought the way I made it looked better

I am trying to follow your instruction but I get lost at the part where you say go to path and click along path tool...cannot see that :(
