GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Basic Level


I have to make changes to the logo of our society. Homepage address is new. Now the font is probably Praline of Jan Fromm, but it isn't free. He who created the logo was professional and had this font. I don't and it isn't something I will do thou who knows when I will pass away. So I am searching a font like that.

Location: Native to NYC living in Arizona, Gimp 2.8 & 2.10, Win 11 PC.
You could try findafont.com . You can also join dafont.com, if you have a picture of the font you can ask the forum to help you find a similar type font. Then again you could just google the font's name and see what come up. I do believe that this font has many other fonts in it's family, some of which might be free to use.

Thats what I do. I have an account in dafont and I have found an identified several times. works great

I've use the dafont forum before to find fonts and I agree.

Yes, thou I'm very shy. I made a mistake. Took for sure that the name of the font was

It wasn't. It is Rooney. Not so pretty name for a nice font. So anyway, following the fine advises I got, found sandome_g font. Certainly I have to make accents by hand and renew whole text in logo. I think it is quite near anyway.
