Wallace I have been playing/practising again and find these stroked spiro type path images are extremely flexible; I created a jellyfish (by accident!), turned it into a fractal relief (love them!!) and overlayed it with the original stroked path image ... been going for 3.5 months now and GIMP capabilities still absolutely amaze me. So here is a jellyfish in a fractal sea.

Really good ones Wallace; particularly like the multi level red/blue fountain.

Looks like we have both been playing with these spiro things today- I tried what I thought was a complex pair of paths ... no problems said the scripts!!

Not bad Molly, with out a doubt a class "A" effort. ;)
You have the idea down, now it's just a matter of being able to create those paths to help get what you're after in your designs.
Keep up the good work Molly, and be sure to post any new designs that you may come up with in the future. :bigthup

Thank you Wallace, I thought I had better get at it seeing you spent all that time creating all these wonderful tutorials for us.
A little bit of nagging helped too. :teeth

I enjoy making the tutorials very much, it's a labor of love so to speak. If others find them fun and enjoyable, that's what really matters to me. Furthermore, if we learn something in the processes as well, then it's a win-win for everyone. ;)

Thanks Molly.
It's all created using paths, as demonstrated in this video tutorial. All except the gradients that were applied of course.
