The idea here, is that we all contribute and help to create an awesome 2015 GC Banner that we can all be proud of.

I started this with a background and added the impression of Gimp's Wilber with shadow.
Now all that's needed is for all you "GC members" to add to the image and create the first GC Community Banner of 2015, made by us all.
Enjoy.
Feel free to make any changes to the image that you think are appropriate.



Note...
Please be respectful of others, don't add anything that might be considered offensive according to the GC posting guidelines, nor take up considerable space within the image with any addition that you might add.
Be mindful that others may wish to add something to the image as well.
Above all... have fun while you participate in this "Community Project".

As a side note...
I forgot to mention that the xcf file should be included with any addition that might be made. So please remember to add the xcf file when uploading your additions to the 2015 GC Community Banner.

Adding a bit of hair on the ear

Nice touch Ofnuts.

Way back when we were first getting GC going, several people spent a LOT of time making a GC banner. It had colored pencils, and Wilber, etc in it. We all spent hours working together on it.

I would guess that GnuTux has a copy of the original Gimp Chat banner.

Where is it?

I am sure Tux still has it. Jolie was also in on that one. I have been thinking about her a lot lately.

I remember that banner, always loved it. I am not sure I will have time to contribute to this, which is probably a good thing for the look of the banner!
I also think of Jolie often and wonder if she is ok.

Yes, the first banner was a group effort. It was instigated by Jolie. We still use the banner. It's always 1st in rotation and appears at 12:00, 4:00 & 8:00 pm/am. I actually have a couple of others from that thread in rotation, as a tribute to Jolie.
