GnuTux EnviroLogo is evolving into a must have script along with BRL :bigthup

Thanks, Graechan! They're both somewhat similar but produce different results. BRL has better environment mapping capabilities than GIMP's built-in lighting filter. :hehe

Very nice. Thank you, Tux!

Results from plasma patterns turn out pretty well. I did need to increase the size of the environment map to 1600 pixels to avoid pixelation from the stretching of the pattern.

With an added bumped overlay.

Here is my try at using the new envirologo as the base of the text and adding BRL to the selection that is shrunk a bit.

Cool results, folks! :bigthup

Inverting the bump map and setting the curve to logarithmic produces a pretty cool result. For me, only certain patterns as eMaps seem to produce good results, then only when I make the eMap size larger than the target image, otherwise it becomes pixelated. With patterns, I tend to prefer standard fills or overlays. However, using patterns as eMaps can produce interesting effects.

great outcomes Rod, Happydays (love Dr Who!!) and Issabella (nice texture!).

This Envirologo script can produce interesting mixes of gradients, patterns and textures so I used it to make a Truchet patterned plate of Truchet patterned Envirologo balls ... I just do not know why ...

Image

Issabella - one of the balls is one of your rusty patterns!!

Everyone has produced excellent results by using this script to assist with their designs. Well done! :bigthup
