sure i saw it , and seems almost impossible that was added by the filter

Anyway to check i will need you to use gmic/gimp in this way:

for gmic, set output to "New Layer" so the original image will be not changed

in Gimp do NOT edit the layer modified by gmic, but duplicate it and apply whatever change you wish to the dup, but not to the layer created by gmic

Save as xcf and upload...

Sorry to ask but from a jpg/png i can't spot the problem, neither i may if the original image used by gmic was modificated...i need the xcf and at that conditions

PhotoComix, that looks very good even with the problems you seem to be having. Keep on, you'll get there eventually.

I can't seem to get the pretty colors on this one with the psychedelic glasswork filter. The one on the left is using the stained glass filter which gives prettier coloring. I've attached the xcf file with the layers I started with if someone wants to experiment.

O, Uncheck the first option "White Separators"

Worked so well on my first test but now i decided to revert to the old default , leaving the option in place because sometimes works well ..sometimes... but not so often to be a good default

Thanks PC. I went back and experimented more and found that out about the white separators. Also, turning off equalize and setting the Layer FX to Hard Light helped.

Yes the equalize bleach a lot.
You may use Color burn and/or multiply if the images are too lighly

And ...as postwork also to improve colors try the Contrast Swiss Mask (it is in Light & Shadow ,also in gmic) ,default should be fine

well now i want show why i called this filter Psychedelic Glasswork tiler
(Oregonian here i used the swiss mask with the default as postwork, but for sure i will add that option soon, that should not create problems and is quite effective )

AS USUAL I LIKE TO START FROM A VERY GOOD PHOTO...and acknowledge the author http://www.flickr.com/photos/xenia_antunes/

Looks great O!

PC your filter is as usual outstanding to say the least.

My G'MIC keeps going to Not Responding, although Computer doesn't even get affected... Help I am running it on a pretty large image with lots of distortion being added which is probably why...

That's really very nice Willy. In the center, before maximizing, it looks like a Teddy bear face. When I maximize the picture it's not a bear face anymore. Keep on working in this stuff. You're getting some great results.

@PhotoMaster ... I love your Cookie Monster. I have a picture of Oscar the Grouch that I'm playing with. Hopefully I'll come up with something with it.

@PhotoComix ... Your Indian Sculpture is totally superb. I love all the views of it.

OK, got the update. Oscar the Grouch in the spotlight. I like the new choices. Raise local contrast really is cool. The layer mask improves it too. Your update is very nice. I like it better. :yes :clap :hi5
