Colors>Map>Rotate colors works pretty well. But why do you use GIF for something that is not an animation?

Maybe you did that before you save as, or exported it as animated.gif

I loaded the image as .png (default) and saved as such.
Do you mean that it cannot be saved/exported as .gif as it is?
I don't use .gif, I'll try to change the image type...

done for just one, it looks the same to me

@Lurifax:
Dinasset was re-coloring the screenshot you presented in your first post, which is saved as a .PNG

To re-colour your .GIF you will need to
- change mode from Indexed to RGB (ie. do Image>Mode>RGB);
- re-color each layer using the same technique and settings (eg. Colors>Map>Rotate colors...);
- export as .GIF again.

If you want to edit as a gif, then edit the color map. That is going to be tedious since that gif has many, duplicated colors.

A quick change, Colors -> Map -> Set color map and use one of the existing palettes.

Sorry, but I do not recognize my old Gimp 2.8 any longer. I think I have install wrong Bling Bling Scripts

1.
Yes I downloaded Bling Text Logo from Gimp Chat Script Page.

2.
Yes I put the script in to my iMac script folder.

3.
Yes. I put the patterns in to the pattern folder.

4.

I press Create- Logo Gimpchat- Bling Text Logo and select Patrol font

Image

5.
Next window confusing me very much. Where is my old window???

Image

I always working on that window at the left side. But I got the right one, as don't doing anything as I want him to do. No sparkling bling blings on the animated gif.

When I try to save as or export to, Gimp don't let me type anything in to the line.

My Gimp.Gif,s looks dead.

Image

I have made hundreds of Gimp.Gif,s without any problem before. Why not today.

Image

I dont understand where the problem is.

Hi Lurifax73,

The one on the right is Version 2, which in many ways, is an improvement over V1. It also includes an Alpha to Logo section located under Filters/Alpha to Logo/Bling Logo. The only thing missing from V2 that's in V1 is the shadow adjustment, which in hindsight, I should have included in V2. I will update V2 to include the shadow adjustments, as some point in the future.

I certainly understand how new versions of scripts can add features the user might not need, which can actually get in the way and disrupt work flow. That being the case, I'll attach Version 1.4 of the script, which might better suit your needs.
