Love the effects.

I just don't think the background fits in.
But otherwise very well done! :D

bummer, I can't afford it. Fractalius is about $40and Alien Skins are really expensive, although I do have a lot of his filters. He's the only person I've ever bought filters from.

I still hope that Fractilus would be offered on Give-away-of-the-Day's site one day (can wish can't I; lol). I really like the unique result that I've only approximated in G'MIC but no where close to actually replicating this effect. $40 is a lot to pay for a one effect plugin (at least for me; paid $35 for DAP (initial offering) and it does so much for that $35). Maybe, if I hit the jackpot, that I will splurge on it one day.

Anyway, as a side note, cool result Rod. Like the lightening effect. :)

I've bought some of his other plugins at $40 (texturizer, Plasteroid, and Sketchmaster. if you haven't tried his free Face control you might find it fun. It's very simple and does neat things. I used to go to GAOTD every day but it got to the point where all they had to offer was dopey screensavers and converters of some sort. My wife had a bunch of their stuff and lost it all when her drive died. I stumbled there a few nights ago and it was the same bickering in the comments section. It's kind of funny that as big as the net is and we all seem to frequent the same places.

I think the background fits perfectly. It's not supposed to be correct according to quantum theory, it's science fiction with a smattering of fantasy seasoned with artistic License. If it was supposed to represent something accurately then that would be different but it isn't, it's fun.

When they appeared (uncloaked) in the Klingon Nebula their ships Ion Core burst caused a Multidimensional shift in the Multiverse Time Quazar. This caused fluctuation in surrounding atomic structure causing electromagnetic interference within each solid structure within the Nebuli. All the gases then formed solids and the result was a shifted electromagnetic time sequence.
This resulted in the Klingons firing upon themselves in another dimension.

Just thought i would explain the scene. Hopefully the Enterprise will be along to save the day.

Alas Iron-Man tried to save the doomed Klingon Empire. But his attempt was thwarted by the nebuli magnetic transference and he was torn to microscopic pieces.

Oooohhh I don't like that sorry man.
Just looks a bit tossed on there and the look just doesn't go with everything else.
