Simply awesome work!! I wish I could get the same result on a stylus that I get on paper. You have a talent that exceeds anything I can do! You keep going!!

Made this without any scripts. Not that great but had fun making it.

I love it Charlie, especially the grass in the foreground and that is the part I would like to get better at. Kudo's

Thank you all for the wonderful comments :)

I used Gimp to make the textures on the craft (which I made in my 3D modeling app) The background is a stock image.
I'd also like to thank all the members of Gimp Chat for the help they've given me. :yr

Wall texture I made with Gimp for one of my 3D apps came out perfectly! It can be tiled over 500x and still doesn't show a seam!!

My latest project. I used Gimp for the photon torpedo and a few touch-ups, the rest was one of my 3D apps.

One of my latest creations. I used G'mic for toning the skin and for making the background, also for adding the canvas texture and cracks to make it look more like a painting, though you can barely see the texture.

I apologize to everyone for being gone so long, I've been quite busy for a while and haven't had much time for anything but work, but I managed to squeeze this out recently. I played with about 10-15 g'mic filters while making this homage to my youth. The background is original artwork from a cell I got a long time ago. Hope some of you like :)

charlie: that's very well made! i agree with odin about the colours, and i also like the spiral ray around he-man.
i was never into the he-man cartoon, but it still makes me a bit nostalgic :).

If I was the judge, you would have won Charlie. Some pretty good renders here. :)

Wow no kidding!?
If your image didn't even place, you must have had some very stiff competition, because it's a really nice looking image.
You're a winner in my book Charlie . :bigthup

Thank you Lyle & Wallace for the vote of confidence :bigthup
I apologize for taking so long to thank you guys. I've been at work a lot, and had some personal matters to attend to recently but things are beginning to settle down now.
