dinasset where can I download the modLCS plugin? I tried looking for it at the link at the top of this page and could not find it.

Hello dinasset, I downloaded your plug-in and everything shows up, however, when I run it (see below), that is what I get. I post this here not for you to do anything - you've been more than helpful - I post so that other mac users can see it.

unfortunately the FunnyMosaic filter(s) make use of Cartoonizer and BRL, both of which not working in Mac.
So, it's not a "simple"(?) problem of Mod_LCS (in fact, it's strange the error occurs on a function you have and can run on Mac, it should have shown errors onCartoonizer and/or BRL.
Maybe I can try (after Easter) to setup a version without those two filters for Mac users...

Don't even think about this dinasset you've been so wonderful and helpful. Hey, we got your beautiful Mosaic Line Style and your Mosaic Stained Glass to work on Macs and it does so amazingly.

Dalia, I've prepared a "version 2" of the filter for you; as Mosaic version 2, it detects the operating system, hence -if not Windows- neither Cartoonizer nor BRL are used (replaced by some other similar effect).
But first of all verify that in your system my mod_LCS is showing and can be tested standalone (this because I didn't replace also that one, because it should run on Mac).
If you succeed in seeing and testing mod_LCS standalone, then try to install and run the attached version 2 of Funny_Mosaic.
If it runs, you will get many warning messages telling you that you are running Mac and therefore Cartoonizer and BRL have been replaced.
Let me know.

I have installed this latest version in my plug-ins, but where do I find it in the menu so I can try it out?

2-ton, if I remember correctly you're on a Mac as am I; the plugin didn't work for me. dinasset and I tried for the longest to make it work to no avail. It doesn't mean you can't try - let me know if it does.

I cannot seem to find it anywhere in my menus. My version of Gimp doesn't not seem to recognize most of the plug-ins that I add.

it should show up under menu="<Image>/Diego/Deformation"

did you detect any "constant" characteristics among those plug-ins your systems accept and those they don't? could be interesting

I've got a suspect, that python for Mac does not "agree" the functions/statements to detect the platform used, thus I created this version (suffixed Mac) where all the statements to distinguish between Windows and other platforms have been removed but the filter anyhow does not use ancillary functions available only on Windows. If recognized, it should work for you.

dinasset, I'm sorry to say it didn't work but, 2-ton should try it anyway. I've downloaded, removed and downloaded so many times that it could be something twisted with my own files. Bless you for your perseverance.
