Automated Facial and License Plate Blurring

Hello All,
I would like to blur out facial and license plate information automtatically, just like what you see on google street view. I have many digital image files and am too lazy to do them manually. Is there a plug-in or something similar for this already? I am running on windows PC. Thank you

There is probably a few ways you could go about doing this.
ellipse select > blur> gaussion blur may be one. Make sure the selection is feathered.

You could also look at the rasterize script http://gimpscripts.com/2013/05/rasterize-2/

You can't do this automated with GIMP. You have to search elsewhere for a solution. Also, if you blur out something, you have to do it in a way that you can't recover the numbers or the faces with unblurring and deconvolution strategies.

Use, Filters → Blur → Pixelise
More effective, use Filters → Distorts → Ripple (Amplitude 20) before Pixelise.
