Hi! This is my first attempt at acrylic painting on canvas.
The paint is kids paint so it's not all that good (It's meant to be used for painting those figurines you buy in craft stores made out of dried plaster or something like that) but it was given to me years ago and I have hardly used it (except as accents and stuff) besides a test painting and a painting I tried on watercolor paper (which somebody actually bought which is surprising. xD)...So yeah I pretty much never did this before to speak of. And the supplies were cheap so yep...Take it for what it's worth!

Personally, I dislike acrylic paint (it could be because my brushes and paints aren't the best) but I just don't like how it's not as easy to manipulate as watercolors, and you can't water it down all that much because overtime it will crackle and flake off the canvas so..ughhhhh...I can't make details or anything either with it. It could be be my novice-ness with it but I don't like ittt!! xD

I do like the texture and the shine though, that's nice.

So here's my attempt! I under-painted first with some chalky watercolors then went over it with the acrylic paint. At the end I went over it with sealant then used a white pen for some finer highlights because the thick lines were driving me crazy.

I guess it's okay since I don't like the medium. xD

So that's that!
Enjoy, cnc welcomed and all that....

~ God Bless ~

For someone that doesn't like the medium you did amazing. I admire people who have an innate ability to create and have always loved your work.

There is a difference between drawing what's in your head and not being able to draw. If you can use your hands you can draw something. ;)

Nice :paint . I agree, you've done well since you don't like the medium.

Great work Mokonafan - I admire you for experimenting with different media! I like this one - the colours are really vibrant - thanks for sharing :).
