 Post subject: Saving files in Inkscape - Help Needed

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User



Hello friends, while saving the files in Inkscape, i saved it in .png format and it is shown below as seen in the pic. I added some filter effects (here Bevels ->Combined Lighting)while i tried to save in .svg or .pdf or even .png too, this filter effect is not seen when i tried to open the file in .png format. Can someone help me to sort out this issue
1.I want the filter effects to be visualized in the Image.
2.And also the correct format to save files in Inkscape. I use Inkscape 0.91

Not an expert on filters, but you dont save as .png, you export to png.
Saving as svg or pdf is correct.
Filters may or may not be displayed depending on the program you use to open the svg.
