Hi everyone,
I've discovered a fix for the issue which has plagued oBerry and I (and possibly others). It appears as the drivers for our tablets are not able to communicate properly with the 64 bit version of GIMP. We need to remove the 64 bit version of GIMP and install the 32 bit version of GIMP. To do this, you can use the standard GIMP installer for Windows and run it via a command line and append " /32" to the end of it.
It should look as follows:
gimp-2.8.18-setup.exe /32Make sure you're in the folder where the GIMP installer is located before executing the line above. In Windows you can accomplish this by holding down SHIFT then right-clicking in an empty white space within the folder. Within the Context menu click the "Open command window here" option.
For everyone who has a chinese made tablet that relies on the UC Logic drivers (Parblo, Ugee, Huion, Monoprice, etc.) we'll need to ask the manufacturers to release updated drivers that allow their products to function within 64 bit applications properly.
