Just one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher's death, comes word that Carrie's mother Debbie Reynolds has passed away. Rest in peace Carrie and Debbie.

Prayers to the family having to lose two precious people so close together.

I heard that Debbie was hospitalized for a possible stroke. Prayers to the family is right.

Just did a humble tribute to Debbie as well. Dad loved her in Tammy. Who hasn't heard of Singing in the Rain either. Jeeze; wish 2016 would end already.

Thank you for the very nice tribute, Lyle. I remember Debbie Reynolds very well in those movies you mentioned. It is very sad that they died so close to each other. They will be missed.

Very sad, I used to watch the ending scene to singing in the rain all the time when I was little. She probably died of a broken heart which is so tragic. I can't imagian what her granddaughter is feeling right now with her mother and grandmother being gone in 2 days. RIP and thoughts and love go to the family.
