Never used this theme before.
I may be wrong,
but wasn't it also released with large icons?

I've been using the Aurora-Midnight theme since in was released,
about 7 or so years ago.
I've become so use to it,
that every other GIMP theme looks strange to me.

Or you can make your own by colouring-in the symbolic icons to make them easier to find:

the icons are the same size pretty much i guess , but i always have my gimp on the small theme.
I do like the dark theme, it is easier on my eyes when im spending extended periods of time painting. i got my gimp 2.6 on my windows xp dark like that, not sure if its that theme though, i had to use something special like Gtk2 program.but on linux of course gimp will change to whatever color the gtk theme is
