Having seen that my 2 followers (Issabella and Pat) like to work with more than 2 images, I've prepared a modified version which accepts n layers in input and scale them all by a % defined by the user which is applied progressively:

- the BG maintains its input size, but is blurred
- the FirstLayer above is scaled to BG.size * 100-percentage
- the SecondLayer above is scaled to FirstLayer.size * 100-percentage

and so on, up to the top layer

# warning: the size of the image (which is the size of the BG layer) is taken as the base size
# scaling is performed starting from the base size
# if a layer has a ratio width/height different from the ratio of the BG,
# the scale function will alter the proportion

Here this modified version, still simple.

Up to the user (as before), moving/rotating each reduced layer

:hehe Free interpretation.
I've been experimenting this filter with layers and modes.
Here my result playing like that:
I ran the same picture with different Dinasset's filters (FakeLinify, QuickWatercolour, SortOfAnguish and ChildPaint)
Opened the original picture and added the results I got before as layers.
I ran Picture in a picture filter.
I rotated a bit the resultant layers and se them at different layer modes (grain merge, hard light, screen...)
New from visible.
Flipped in horizontal New from visible layer.
Set the flipped layer at Difference layer mode.
(only a play) ;)

May I call it a sort of a new abstract painting technique?
Interesting...

Good thinking, Issabella! You are able to find other ways of using these filters! Very unique!

I really love this multilayer Picture in Picture! I quickly found pics to try it out so there is no complete theme. Just wanted to play. Later I can figure out better combinations. Thank you again, Dinasset for this fine script!

It seems I called it properly: it's really a divertissement for the fans….
Nice compositions.
