I'm wondering how to use color curves that I have downloaded. What file extension should they have when added to the curves folder? Also, I have created a few colorings. How would I go about using the colorings I've created?

I'm not sure how you created these Curves Files,
but you can try and import them into the Curves Dialog and then exporting them into the Curves User Folder.

Thank you Wallace. I will try that. :)

I have only 2 curves file saved to my Curves User Folder and they show up as generic files.

Okay. That's what I thought. I wasn't sure. How would I use a coloring that was in a .xcf file? I'm just curious.)

I'm not sure.
What do you mean by "coloring's"?
Have you tried importing the files into the Curves Dialog yet?

Maybe you can post the xcf file and we can check it out.

Wallace, the file is attached. I just want to know how to add the color layers to a photo that is already open in GIMP 2.10.2

Open the xcf file as layers.
