I'm learning Blender and Daz studio very slowly. This is something I am working on at the moment. It is inspired by the Space 1999 Eagle spaceships. If anybody wants to follow my progress, you can watch here:

Thank you Ella Louise. I'm no expert but I am learning.

TimeLord - that's the one. I remember loving Gerry Anderson's stuff when I was young. Captain Scarlet, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Joe 90 etc, then Space 1999 came out when I was a little older and I loved that too.

I don't know. I suppose there are only so many ideas one can come up with to fit into a situation, then sadly, it's best it ends. Having said that, Dr Who keeps going despite the fact the Doctor should be running out of incarnations very soon, but then Dr Who has become a little mysterious and New Agey in many ways. I suppose with todays scientific theories, Moon Base Alpha could find itself in a parallel reality that allows for new ideas and quantum leaps. Back in the seventies, there were some very inventive and unusual programs on TV - I can imagine what we would be watching if their imagination was combined with todays science and CGI. WOW!

The Time Lords on Gallifrey gave a new cycle of 12 regenerations to the 11th Doctor for helping to defeat the Daleks (again). So he, or she, should be ok for another 50 years on TV. :)
