Hi folks,
Recently a photo of Two Whales Beneath the Samuel De Champlain Bridge started going viral on social media, it was created by digital artist Umut Reçber who posted this image to Instagram on July 26 along with the caption, “Mother.”

You say a photo of two whales went viral?
Haha, can you imagine what happened if that whale slapped its tail? That bridge would snap like salt stick and crumble to the sea floor.
Samuel De Champlain Bridge is 3440 meters long, the posts are 37 meters. Biggest whales, blue whales grow up to 30 meters.
I'm just saying it's pretty easy to tell this supersized mega whale photo is an image.

So the whale has a draft of around 50 meters. How deep is the Saint-Lawrence?

Wikipedia says the clearance below the bridge is 36.6 meters (120 feet).

@ kungfu07, the image is pretty nice even if it's not realistic.

Champlain Bridge Characteristics
Design Cable-stayed bridge
Material Steel, Concrete
Total length 3,400 m (11,155 ft)
Width 60 m (196.85 ft)
Height 170 m (557.74 ft)
Design life 125 years

Width 60 meters? I didn't even realize how big this, just recently opened bridge is. First I thought the fantasy whale would be around 200 meters long but it's a kilometer long ray-whale. :rofl
