You know I'm mad.
But in this case everyone can show his/her madness; it's enough to download/install my plugins:
FillingPlus and PosterizeFilling;
then run PosterizeFilling (which uses FillingPlus) with option Gradients Random,
keep / adjust the outcomes you like better, and discard the other ones.

dinasset: I lied the hippie one too, just like Erisian ! But I thin my favourite so far is the one with the woman's face, in your second to last post. That could make a really cool print.
Sadly, I don't think we can make this particular mind altering substance work with our laptops/gimp setups, but Erisian has his own version with those G'mic stylise images.

With my filters outcome is always an "unicum" I can't reproduce it, because I like randomness (gradients are chosen randomly so as the modes).
This one has some postprocess steps.

Dinasset: So much fun to see what this filter does . My favourites are play 10 and play 11. Have you ever made prints of any of your filtered images?
