When I try to insert the bling-text over an other image it will not work for me.
When I look ONLY at my bling-text it works and ONLY the stars are blinking inside the text.
But when I put another image under the bling-text all the font is blinking.
I have tryed everything to change this but have no success.
Any help ....

That's because you have your custom background in the layer stack. It needs to be combined with every bling animation layer, and then deleted.
In the bling-text settings,you set background layer to none obviously.

1. Add your background to the bottom.
2. Having all layers visible, use combine background script by saulgoode (attached if you don't happen to have it)
3. Delete the background layer.

as you can see I can make the bling tekst,but there is still something wrongi!
when I go to script-fu I normally have to get the image below.

but I don't have that ,as you can see below

is there anything else i need to add?

You can do that by exporting as separate layers, then bevel the stroke, then combine frames.

Hi,
when creating an alpha selection, I always get the
error message shown in the picture.
The file cannot be saved as * .gif.
What am I doing wrong?

When creating a blinking text under logo, I can save.

I am unable to recreate Bling Text in Gimp 2.10.
I get the first part, but when I go to Filters/alpha to logo/Bling Logo and select a patter, The text vanished and only the background is displayed. What am I doing wrong.

Please advise.

The script in general has worked without problems, both in the Logo version and in the Apha version for selection.

But if in the Fill Method option one of the options is selected using Gradient, then the script does not work and issues an error message.

Hi Krikor! Try the one I uploaded. I change the "Blend mode and the Paint mode" line to GIMP 2.10 specification. I have the newer GIMP version and It's working fine. I hope this help you.

After installing the script with your correction, unfortunately there are still other error messages.

At first after installing your fix the previous error (CUSTOM) stopped showing, but the error started to appear: Layer_MODE_NORMAL.

I risked a repair, I made a change. Then the error became another: LINEAR.

Again I dared to repair it, and this time the script ran without errors!

Adjustments I made:
I changed LAYER_MODE_NOMAL to LAYER-MODE-NORMAL;
I changed LINEAR to GRADIENT-LINEAR

Thank you very much Pocholo, thanks to your correction the script runs without errors now !!

PS: Well ... there are actually no more errors but the gradient is never applied. Not everything is perfect.
