Hello all,
I'm looking for a way to have a thin border around the menus in GIMP, as I find it extremely difficult to tell where they begin and end and hope a small line will improve that.
I've found how to change the background or the font color, but they are ok as they are.
Only if there were a tiny border around a menu ....
Anyone knows how to do that?
Thanks in advance

I don't know how to add borders, but you can change the canvas background to a lighter color that will make it easier to see menus.

You can also change the text size on your computer.
Tool icon sizes as well through preferences (6th picture on this page

You may just have to add something in the code in gimp - one of our more clever members can tell you what to do.

Do you mean like this:?

If so, you need to look in the Theme directory for the theme you are using and edit the menu.png file, remembering to change it from greyscale mode to RGB (unless you want grey borders)

yes, Kevin that's what I*ld like to achive.
I'll give it a try later on this day.
It's so much easier on old eyes to have some borders around objects.
Hope the time of flat designs will be over some day.
Didn't come upon the idea that it could just be an image file to change. Thanks for pointing me to it.
Thanks racer-x and Sallyanne for your ideas.
