Yes take care and stay safe in these terrible stormy conditions. It's a growing global problem; we still have people homeless two years after storms caused flooding in places where nobody expected floods to occur.

Thank you everybody. I have just been outside to put out the rubbish and recycling and it felt calm and the rain had stopped so fingers crossed...! I dare say it was probably a lot worse outside the big cities than in them.

We have just been into town and it doesn't seem to be an issue here now. It was a bit windy but not wild.
