well these threads popup on forums from time to time and usually are rather blan as most people use Windows there and aren't strongly artistic as we are here, I think this should be cool!

anyway, hopefully this topic can stand.

Hope you don't mind but I blanked out some stuff on mine.

My desktop is such a mess! You can see the after effects of making checkmark and no brushes plus a lot of stuff to gather up and put away. You asked for it ... :lol

It's Fedora 12's default wallpaper which I really like when I can see it. :hehe

Mine is way boring. Since recently moving to Fedora 14, I've been doing a good job of keeping my desktop clean and uncluttered. The wallpaper is a picture of my favorite fishing spot. I call it; "Big Fish Bank". :hehe

I use a Chinese Zodiac theme, so the background changes once a day (what I scheduled it for), but otherwise, it's the mess that you see (so I got you beat O; lol). A few items (like the cupcake) won't be there for long though. lol

:)

Might as well share my XP Desktop too (where I do 99.9% of my browsing). :)

:lol I have a folder named Cr*p to Sort and another one named Sorting Stuff. That's where I scoot a lot of stuff, but a lot of the stuff on my desktop, I will gather into a pile and mass Shift + Delete them.

My desktop is completely empty (and the task bar is autohiding). I can be messy IRL but my computers are squeaky clean. I don't need Google Desktop since I can spot all my files very quickly (but I long for some Google Socks or Google Underwear :)

So here is my completely standard KDE/Ubuntu desktop while I work on a Gimp script.
