I had a look on the net for deer brushes but only found 4. If you cut out a few silhouettes of any type of deer or any animal come to fact. How can you turn it into a brush?

Any tips is appreciated

Thanks

You might find some deer in fonts Lorri, or there are tutorials how to make brushes in the search.

A quick Google search turned up a few deer brushes.

http://qbrushes.net/tag/deer/

If you are into animal brushes, this site has a ton of Photoshop brushes that work in Gimp -

These four sites will tell you everything you ever need to know about making your own brushes.

One thought is that you can create brushes from graphical fonts (dings). There are lots of animal fonts/dings out there.

I did post some font dings with a deer above, not too many deer to choose from unless maybe in the Christmas fonts.

Thanks all I didn't know you can make your own brushes. Also thanks for the links on some of them they are ok but not really what I'm looking for, but on the gasart I got loads thanks Draconian. I will use them in the future.

alc59 thanks for that big tip. I'll also use that one in the future too.

A great big thanks :D

Just a reminder - there is a clipboard setting for both brushes and patterns, so you can use anything in the clipboard (from a copy action) as a brush or a fill pattern.

Part of your operating system. Whenever you hit "copy" it automatically puts it on your "clipboard" (unseen - sort of in cyberspace or something) to be used by whatever program you are using. When you open your brush or pattern dialog, the very top lefthand corner will have your "copied" image there to use temporarily.
