I always looked at it this way.Artists are imaginative, adventuresome individuals.
An artist can see art anywhere.For instance faces in a tree stump, or shapes in the clouds.
I believe we are all artists in our own way.We all have different gifts to share with each other.
It makes our lives here less boring, and more exciting.

hope i'm not being too forward, just friendly poking at the filter maestro lylejk. indeed, mr. "i'm just a filter guy", totally agree, its the creativity not the tools that make art.

Never said I was an artist by any stretch ico4489. I'm way too lazy to be one. I actually do prefer to be called a simulator (someone on another forum that I frequent called me an experimental retoucher; I like that title too). My passion is to coax to computer to emulate art good enough to fool most folk; sometimes I get a positive hit. lol

Anyway, I actually prefer having the computer do all the work with a little nudging from me (think of me as the Maestro; I play no instrument, but the orchestra wouldn't be able to play without one).

This is the first time I've seen someone use hair as a medium on one of these videos.

Who is the guy who stands on stage and paints on a big spinning canvas? Sometimes, he's fun to watch.

I have always been fascinated by people who do awesome pictures with an etch-a-sketch! I can barely make a recognizable box!

I have always considered myself an artist, but these people have a talent that leaves me scratching my head. I hope someday to get back to my old creative self, but even at the top of my game, they had me beat.
