I'm an avid Spotify user, despite my initial concerns about it's morality. I LOVE finding new music, and love sharing it with people. (in fact I used to have a tri-weekly blog looking for fairly unknown music but my teammates dropped out on me so I let it go.

I've been listening to a lot of the new Five Finger Death Punch album lately. I'm almost entirely a metal head, and it was just a few years ago that I was going to a concert every month...oh do I miss that.

Have you ever listened to this band? They rank up there as one of my all time favs. They have an extensive catalog of straight forward rock music.

Interesting sidenote on "Louie, Louie." It was actually an instrumental. The lead singer made up the lyrics as they recorded it in the studio.

at work today, they played patriotic music all day. Not only was it uplifting and keep those who fought for us in our minds, but it was very energetic and many people would break into marching steps at odd times, lol. Our customers seemed to enjoy it, they would comment how they hadn't heard this or that in a long time.

Haven't heard that in a while. I remember in boot camp they would play that. We were already psychologically stressed and half of us would begin crying. Man, the good ole days.
