I hope who ever filmed that was behind a wall, some good cover. That's one thing I would not want to come across in the wild is a moose calf and the mama. Moose can be very violent in protecting their young.

But yes .. very cute!

Extremely cute!

I don't know if American moose behave differently from our Scandinavian elks (same species, we just call them differently! :-)), but I've come across a good number of them in Sweden, including cows with calves, and I never saw any aggression. They just tend to lumber off into the woods.

I agree that I also wouldn't want to be THIS close though, without cover - and I'm sure you are right that she wouldn't take kindly to being startled...

That's really cute. Love to see how much energy the baby moose has, and how happy he is. (I'd probably be pretty scared seeing that full grown one in front of me)
