When i turn it on i get no video to the monitor, and no keyboard. It also makes a beeping sound. Both fans are running okay and it's clean inside.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Some folks told me that it is one continuous beep so it is probably a dirty processor. So i am off to grab the vacuum cleaner and see if that helps. :lol

If that doesn't work i am told it need to be disassembled and cleaned thoroughly.

Weird how it's so dirty.I just had the entire inside cleaned a few months back if you guys remember.

Ah well, if you guys have any more ideas i would be happy to hear them.

I guess if it's 1 beep it's the video card.
2 beeps is the RAM
3 or a continuous beeping is the processor.

Thanks again

First i will try something very simple as check and clean the plugs
If that doesn't solve i would check if the monitor works with another PC

PS if the monitor doesn't work how could you know that also the keyboard has problems ?

What the beeps mean depends on the motherboard brand.
This is not standardized.

Yes, the beeps are Power On Self Test (POST) codes. The codes are BIOS specific but there is some overlap.

1 long beep can be RAM issues. Try reseating (or swapping) your RAM. It's a good idea to go ahead and reseat your video card as well.

I am back.
I took the cover off, and the processor out and cleaned it.Put it back together and all is well. :)
