Really like the card Pauline; like your animation sig too Molly. Hard to believe Christmas is less then a week from now and New Years less then 2. 2011 passed by fast no doubt.

Nicely done Drac; is that a christmas light brush that you used or did you stroke a path or something like that. Just curious.

Frisky little fella

I experimented with making a brush but never could get the results I wanted. You would not believe how long this took! I made a brush out of a holly pic then stroked some text. Next I made a grayscale light bulb then made a base with a few stripes. I made one for each of the colors, added the base to each, and made a brush out of each one. Once I got one of each of them on the page, It was a process of duplicate/rotate/move to get each one in exactly the right position on the string, which I made separately and just erased the parts that "go behind". I kept the different colors on separate layers then duplicated each one so I could adjust the curves on one set of colors to get the "bright" effect. I added the "wink" to wilber and the rest was merging the background, duplication and arrangement. Took me three freakin' days!

Here's the holly brush if anyone wants it. I didn't fool with rotating layers and setting to random. Just one layer. (getting lazy in my old age)

The light bulb brushes are pretty small but here they are anyway.
