Thank you everyone. I'm finally on the downhill side of this and on the mend. Plan to go home this coming weekend. I'm using my daughter's laptop to post & stuff. It's great to be able to use it and correspond but just doesn't have the same feel as my ol' workhorse mini tower at home. Can't wait to get back into my own personal saddle.

My daughter doesn't have GIMP on her computer so I can't try out stuff until I get home. I sure miss everyone and GIMP, too.

Glad that you are feeling better O; Dad picked up a bug at my brother's house (probably from either him or my nephews since they were both recently sick) over Christmas and is just now starting to fee a little better. Seems like every time he goes there, he gets sick. I told him we don't need to be going there anymore. lol

Anyway, again, glad that you are getting better. We all missed you here and look forward to seeing some of your stuff soon. :)

"O" is still recuperating from her very long illness. I think she will be back as soon as she feels up to it.
She is still pretty weak and has to build herself up some to gain back her strength.

Oregonian has had several setbacks since her last post to this thread. Out of respect for her privacy, I won't go into details but it's suffice to say that she is still experiencing health issues that preclude her from participating here.

All my best wishes go out to her and I hope she recovers soon. She is sorely missed.

Her daughter is looking after her so she is in good hands.
We will do our best to keep you all informed as to her condition.

Add my wishes and prayers to everyone else's for O's continued recovery and hopes for no more setbacks but a steady progression to a full strong recovery.
