I tried it in my Windows Gimp but it was asking for .dll files so it didn't work for me. It is attached below Rod.

Molly i have it working fine in Gimp-2.6
I just placed the "liquify.exe" file in my UserFolder/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins folder and found it in Filters>Distorts>Liquify

Nicely done! The preview window looks really good. :)

I have not tried it in Gimp-2.7 yet.

Glad to see that Rod,
I did the same thing. I went over to Windows, opened my user/molly.Gimp 2.6 folder, put in the liquify.exe and I also put it in the Partha's 2.7. When I opened up Gimp, I got a message, missing dll's. in both Gimps.

Is it the libintl-8.dll Molly?

It will not work in Gimp-2.7 at all.The dll files are named the same but different.
Was this plugin compiled from Gimp-2.6 src files?

Hi Rod.

No, your version was compiled in the Gimp 2.7 environment.
I don't use Gimp 2.6 any longer. Gimp 2.8 will look more like 2.7 and I want to get used to it...
I don't use the .gimp-2.7 folder in my home directory, because it's just for me. I made a folder
MyPlugins and adjusted it in gimp. All of the .dll from gimp\bin folder are in this folder, too,
because otherwise I get errors for missing dlls.
The liquify plugin will not work in gimp 2.6.

I guess I can't try it in Fedora 17, I can't put .exe files in plug-ins.
