First concepts and final results side by side, just for fun. Based on DementedSnake's template. Some of these concepts I did as long ago as the late 90's and didn't evolve into a finalized image until much later. Vice-versa, some images I felt final at the time but I later went back to the concept to improve (so I didn't follow the meme instructions exactly). See DA page for links to full images.

- The left image is the first version of the G'MIC plug-in for GIMP, released at Jan.2009.
- The right one, is the current development version (dated Feb.2012).

what a difference there is for both of you

Well, this doesn't actually show "progress as artist", as much as it shows the distance it can be between first concept and final result. A fun one - I can recommend looking at other similar things over on GT and DA.
