Hello. I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about what the smooth stroke option is and how it affects pen strokes? Also, what do the smooth stroke options for quality and weight do?

I've been playing around with this to see if I can answer your question but at the moment I have to say I can't detect any difference when using a normal brush or bitmap brush. It might be the case that it only makes a difference with certain brush settings. All I can say is, experiment a lot.

It does not affect the brush quality or rendering, instead it affects the "shape" or path of the stroke... It removes small "wobbles" from the line you draw, and the higher you set the setting the larger wobbles are smoothed...

Thanks. I gathered it had something to do with that. I tried experimenting with it myself last night and I didn't really notice much difference. Maybe it's more noticeable if one is using a graphics tablet with a slicker surface (my Intuos4 currently has a piece of paper taped over it to give me better friction and less slippage).
